Design/Build & Process

Custom Landscape Plans – Great landscapes start with personalized plans that work for your property, your lifestyle and your area. We are skilled in both formal and naturalistic planting designs that combine horticultural and ecological knowledge to create beautiful year round landscapes.

Water Features – Fountains, waterfalls and other water features can add beauty, sound, lushness and intimacy to any landscape. We design water features that compliment your home or property and transform the grounds into a unique setting.

Walks and Patios – Carefully planned walkways and patios can enhance the functionality and visual appeal of your exterior spaces. We have years of experience designing walks and patios that work for any type of yard or outdoor space.

Landscape Lighting – Landscape lighting can extend your enjoyment of your landscape by lighting features through the evening. We can create an illuminated atmosphere with properly placed lights. In addition of aesthetics, lighting adds security, safety, and value to your home and landscape.

Pool Settings – Our landscape designers can create the perfect landscape to compliment your pool areas. The combination of water, hardscaping, and lighting with lush plants can make for an unforgettable backyard.

Our Proven Design/Build Process

BlueGrass Landscape views each design as a custom build creation. Every design/install will be treated with the customer’s needs in mind. The first step is an onsite consolation. This is a one on one service that focuses on the customer’s desires and needs. Through conversations, we discuss ideas and a budget. As an experienced contractor, we offer advice that will help translate the home owner’s thoughts into realistic installation. At this stage we can create phases for the landscape project.

After the first meeting, BlueGrass Landscape heads into the office to create a preliminary design. This design will offer the home owner an idea of the landscape layout and a budget. There is typically a discussion between BlueGrass and the homeowner to make changes if needed for the preliminary design.

The last step of the design/build process is the final design and presentation. If accepted the design and proposal is complete by signing a contract for services and a deposit. Once the deposit is accepted, the homeowner receives a schedule of when the project will begin.

Through phone calls and emails, the homeowner will have constant contact with BlueGrass Landscape. Our goal is to create a comfortable working relationship with our customer and design process.
